Edutainment: Sorry for the silence

I am mittendrin in preparing my time in Barcelona. Still looking for a flat, leere Kartons, die darauf warten gefüllt und dann in einen Container verpackt zu werden, Adieu sagen, Platten mitnehmen oder nicht, and so on.
My biggest concern is a Hausarbeit I have to finish until Montag: “Edutainment: Lernen mit Computerspielen.” Quite an interesting subject you will find a lot about on the internet. Works, papers, surveys, articles, examples.. So I´ll just post some links about edutainment, games, learning and so on, some in Deutsch und some in English:

Overview on articles, examples, papers: Video games in education
Medienpädagogik Online von der Bundeszentrale für Politische Bildung
Educational Computer Games in Wikipedia
Zavatar – eine Suchmaschine über Unterhaltungssoftware in Deutschland

Filmmarketing Online

Campaigns and wbloggar

Long time no entry, I am sorry, it´s all about the campaign!

Podcast
TV Debate Livecommenting (amazing, hundreds! of comments!)
My political Blog in German
The blog-platform I am supervising
Convention-blogging
and of course, community management for our volunteers: Rote Wahlmannschaft.

Also, I installed the offline editor wbloggar which allows me to edit blogentries offline. Moreover, Nico writes about interfaces, yes, I think we are entering a new era of information technologies that really enable interpersonal communication.

Meinungsmacher – Another blog of mine

Book CoverBook CoverWww.meinungsmacherblog.de is the blog I set up for the book I contributed to: “Die neuen Meinungsmacher – Weblogs als Herausforderung für Kampagne, Marketing, PR und Medien” by Dr. Ansgar Zerfaß und Dietrich Boelter, published by Nausner&Nausner. Comes out September 2005, 192 pages, ISBN 3-901402-45-4, 12 € (that’s cheap for so much science!).

Social Software, Corporate Weblogs, Corporate Communications, Agenda Setting, Opinion leaders, podcasts, media-for-the-masses, bloggings vs journalism and so on are the buzzwords.

All the science basically is by Dr. Zerfaß, case studies and the business part by Mr Boelter and my part was mainly to surf the web and find interesting stories and to write them down neatly. A lot of work but at last a lot of fun, too. You should read (if you read German) it is really interesting.

Community for politics

Hard work, but the exciting part starts now! We built a website to encourage people to get involved in politics and to be close to the campaign for parliament elections in Germany in september. We want to continue with cool chancellor Schröder for an open-minded, peaceful and human politics.

If you want to join, please go to www.rote-wahlmannschaft.de and become a member! We will send you exclusive information and lots of possibilities to get active for politics (We care about your privacy).

My own warblog

I have started a new weblog around a subject I really like to talk about: Politics. Its wahlkampf.twoday.net.

Anyone who likes is invited to contribute, so please leave me a comment if you want to write. It is in German and of course it is about German politics in these campaign days. It is an experiment as well because I have very clear political opinions but by writing I would like to find out if they are consistent. I would like to say I am realistic but that is only true if you know the whole truth which you will never. So, the more you know, the more difficulut it is to make the right distinctions.

So, let’s blog and find out. Watch me on my way. I am a politcal blogger, too now.

Germany´s first commercial blogger network

I wrote about the campaign two days ago and look at the sites now! They actually did it. Just like Gawker Media several blogs around Spreeblick build a network and try to cover niche subjects, typically for bloggers: Games, politics, TV, music. Only gadgets are missing.. Interesting: Being a publishing house gives those blogs new legal possibilities, like the freedom of press. Good luck and thank you for bringing in economic perspectives!
