Chancellor Schröder decided a week ago that after 9 major defeats of its social democratic party (SPD) in regional parliaments (which are important – we are a republic) it would be impossible to go on since his party and his politics “no more have the trust of the people”. I am working for the online consultancy Face2Net. One of their clients is the SPD, so I am going to be involved with the campaign. September 18th is the estimated election day. This is going to be tough, but exciting. And it starts now.
Me and a friend are working on a paper for our studies in organizations. In this Weblog: http://nwidentitaet.blogg.de we try to collect and share our thoughts. I encountered an interesting form of theatre last friday. I walked by Zionskirchplatz and met two men with a mediaeval looking flag built out of a broom and a paper.

Every visit is a great pleasure: Frank, a former colleague moved to Shang Hai to be an architect? venture capitalist? consultant? Something in between, I guess.. When we worked together, he was a designer, programmer and photographer. Quite a complete portfolio, don´t you think? His weblog is mainly fotos from his steps into a Chinese life. Friday, 22nd of april, I was invited to a McKinsey workshop. These workshops are for getting to know each other and asking a lot of questions to the consultants. We were going to do a case study, eat together and spend a whole day like this.
I just received a link to one of the most complete, interactive and interesting done presentation about electronic music.

As you can see in the picture (click for big) it represents all kind of genres and their links. Moreover, it´s all interactive flash, so you can even listen to several examples for each genre. More than 5 hours of music in total sum time! It´s really good work and a lot of fun. I think you can even call it E-Learning!
I just upgraded to WordPress 1.5 which gives me stunning oppurtunity to change the look&feel of the website just by a mouseclick. Awesome! Rightnow I am trying out different types of design, temporarily you´ll see the one I made for Circle Culture. I will redesign this as well, but please leave a comment about what you think about the change!

Some times people really live a lazy life in Berlin. Partying, hanging out, drinking coffee, eating breakfast at 17 o´clock saturday afternoon..
But people really are creative. They occupy free space and fill it with ideas. Shops that only last for two months, galleries filling the gap between two lodgers, clubs in old banks, industrial sites, cellars or flats. Here´s a nice example of how to turn a sandheap of a construction site into a temporary piece of art. Until today, monday, when the construction workers resume their job..
